Why Busy People Need Two Second Prayers

Prayer is your time to talk with God, but often people believe they don’t have time to spend in prayer. Your Father in heaven is present even though it might seem like He is not seen. There is no set time to talk with Him. You can talk any time with God.

We can pray every moment in spirit and prayer time can vary from two seconds if you are busy to two hours if you have the time to be with Him.

Apostle Paul clearly mentioned that we do not know how to pray, but the Holy Spirit becomes our intercessor. “Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which can not be uttered.” Romans 8:26

There are kinds of prayers that the Bible described can be applied on different occasions.

Supplication

Intersession

Petition

Thanksgiving

Supplication is a general prayer that could be an offer or start at any given time and situation.

The intersession is a prayer we do on behalf of other believers, similar to what Jesus our Lord does on our behalf by seating on the right hand of God the Father in heaven.

The petition is a prayer where we keep on praying until we get an answer from any selected or special subject from God the Father.

Thanksgiving is a way to say thanks to God the Father for blessings or happenings in any given moment in our lives.

The lesson we can learn from these presented to us by the Bible is that we must remember that we can pray without the limit of time and distance because God is available any time to us. If you are busy, take a minute throughout the day to say a quick prayer. Apostle Paul said we are new creatures in Christ Jesus, and we are not from the first Adam, but we are from Second Adam which Christ Jesus. Pastor Usman who is running an entire church on this concept that we are new creatures in Christ Jesus. If we look at prayer patterns in biblical history, the Lord has given Israel the instructions to follow for prayer and worship. Some follow that pattern today. They set time for prayers, and they have prayer festivals at the end of the month and the start of each month. The importance of prayer can not be denied, and it is a part of our faith in Christ Jesus! However, prayer doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming. A simple prayer, such as those for this month, is enough to keep a relationship with God.
